Intern Program

Peppercomm is constantly seeking outgoing and motivated candidates for its internship program. Ideal candidates are creative, organized, have a basic understanding of public relations and have strong communication and writing skills. The internship is very hands-on and interns will be responsible for conducting research for existing clients and new business development, media relations, news monitoring, account administration and general office support.

Based in New York City with offices in San Francisco and London, the firm represents a host of companies and organizations spanning industries such as:

Peppercomm hires interns three times each year for both its PR and Business Intelligence Group, which explores a client’s entire business model and identifies the challenges to growth. We work to craft strategic messages that will move the needle with these important audiences. Infused with this intelligence, Peppercomm’s programs then become a tool not just for promoting a company and its products through the media, but for making sure that messages most clearly reflect what the company wants to communicate and what the intended audience needs. BIG is our platform for ensuring Peppercomm’s public relations work truly is strategic.

Typically lasting three to four months, internship sessions include:

Spring: January-April (Deadline to apply: November 1)

Summer: May-August (Deadline to apply: March 15)

Fall/Winter: September- December (Deadline to apply: July 5)

Title: Business Intelligence Group Intern – Research and Analytics:

Duties: The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable with Excel, possess an understanding of business/economics, and have strong communication and writing skills.

Title: Public Relations Intern

Duties: Media relations; research work for existing client and new business development; news monitoring; account administration/general office support


• A basic understanding of corporate communications function

Computer skills: Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel; excellent writing and verbal communication skills (please bring in a writing sample when you come in to meet with one of us), a general understanding of corporate communications and public relations.

HOURS: Full-time, paid position only. Monday through Friday, 9AM – 5:30PM.
